The Ohio League of Conservation Voters (Ohio LCV) announced today their support and endorsement of Carl Fisher for the Ohio House 36th seat. The Ohio LCV is a bi-partisan non-profit environmental and conservation organization. The Ohio LCV board is composed of statewide leaders and includes active members of both the Democratic and Republican parties. "Candidate Fisher is devoted to his family and will bring his business and school board background to the Statehouse. His concern for Ohio's environment is reassuring in this difficult financial time," said Jim McGregor, Executive Director of the League.

I appreciate you taking the time to visit my website and learn more about my campaign. My name is Carl Fisher; I’m running for state representative in the 36th Ohio House District. I am running because I believe it is time to set aside party politics and find solutions to the problems facing the families and children of Ohio.

I’m a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. I, along with my six brothers and three sisters, attended Huber Heights City Schools and graduated from Wayne High School. I have been married to my lovely wife, Connie, for 34 years and have been blessed with two children and an awesome grandson.

I have been serving on the Huber Heights Board of Education for 20 years. I believe I have made a positive impact on the Huber Heights City School System, and would like to use my commitment and experience to help solve problems affecting our district and state in Columbus.

We must:

Stabilize Our Economy and Create Long-term Job Growth
Modernize Our Curriculum and Classrooms to Better Educate Our Students
Expect Our Elected Officials to be More Responsive to their Constituents
